Cayce DPS promotes Lt. Steinbring to Captain

The Cayce Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Thomas Steinbring to Captain over Fire Suppression and Special Operations. Capt. Steinbring has been with the Cayce Department of Public Safety since 1997 and has served in the capacity of Public Safety Officer, Investigative Sergeant and Public Safety Lieutenant in both Patrol Operations and Fire Suppression.
Capt. Steinbring is currently in the Army Reserve and has 29 years of military service. He served in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, as well as Operation Joint Endeavor and Iraqi Freedom. Capt. Steinbring brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position. He is a former Special Response Team Commander in both the military and at Cayce Public Safety and is also the Chief Instructor for the Cayce Swift Water Rescue Team. Capt. Steinbring is a welcome addition to the Department’s Executive Command Staff.
