Cayce to Hold Plant Exchange Day

April 7, 2009

CAYCE, SC – April 7, 2009 – The Cayce Beautification Board is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Cayce Plant Exchange on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cayce City Hall Complex.

Everyone is invited to bring their seeds, bulbs, clippings/cuttings, potted house plants, shrubs and even trees—anything that can be repotted or transplanted. However, you do not have to bring a plant to participate. A master gardener will be on hand to answer any questions.

“Especially in today’s economy, the plant exchange is a fun way to find new plants and continue gardening while being thrifty,” said Mayor Elise Partin.

The Beautification Board also welcomes children and friendly pets. Refreshments will be provided. The plant exchange will run, rain or shine, until all of the plants have a new home.
