CCSD improves on Advanced Placement results

Scholars from Charleston County School District (CCSD) made significant gains on Advanced Placement (AP) exams in the 2021-2022 school year. The national testing organization recently released results, and CCSD improved by 5.7 percentage points from the previous year with students scoring a “3” or higher (out of 5) on AP tests to 73.5 percent. That average is 9.5 percentage points better than the state average and 13.3 percent better than the national average.
