CCSD’s School Choice application window launches January 25, 2022

Charleston County School District will open its School Choice application process for the 2022-2023 school year on January 25, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. The window will close on February 25, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Each school-aged child in Charleston County is assigned to a neighborhood school based on grade level and home address. In addition to neighborhood schools, CCSD offers specialized programs, magnet, and charter schools to which students can apply.

The annual School Choice Fair scheduled for January 29, 2022, will remain in a virtual format for an additional year. During the fair, families will learn
general information about the school choice cycle and the application process. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to speak directly with
representatives from their schools of interest to learn more about the unique program options. Please check the website for ongoing updates and video tours of all choice programs included in the application process.
