Cecil Brazell receives Richard N. Sendler Award

Cecil Brazell of C and C Builders of Columbia, Inc. received the prestigious Richard N. Sendler Award at meeting of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina held February 12, 2016. Brazell served as President of the Association in 2004 and previously served as Chairman of the Kershaw County Chapter.

The Richard N. Sendler Award was named in honor of 1992 Association President and Builder Member of the Year Richard N. Sendler. He passed away in 2013 and the award was first given in 1977. Recipients are Builder Members who project an image that adds to the stature of the association, exemplifies standards promoted by the association, improve the building industry, and who have unquestionable character and exemplifies standards promoted by the association, improve the building industry, and who have unquestionable character and integrity.

Brazell grew up in Northeast Richland County and he and his five brothers helped their father build homes.  Today, this largely family-run company builds and sells in  Richland, Lexington and Kershaw Counties.  Cecil is a member of Highway P. H. Church and is married to wife, Jackie, and has two daughters.
