Celebrate Hammock Day in Pawleys Island this Saturday, July 25

South Carolina’s Hammock Coast® is celebrating its signature relaxation symbol with the annual Hammock Day Festival this Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Hammock Shops Village (10880 Ocean Highway).

Co-hosted by the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce, South Carolina’s Hammock Coast®, The Original Hammock Shop, and The Hammock Shops Village, this free community event features: 

• Live Music: Beach music from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. by the 14KT Gold Band and The Tams.

• Family Fun: Inflatables, face painting, cornhole, and food trucks.

• Shopping & Swag: Free branded Hammock Coast caps, official $10 Hammock Day T-shirts (while supplies last), and open shopping/dining throughout the Village.

• Giveaways: Chances to win an Original Pawleys Island Hammock, tickets to Brookgreen Gardens, and other prizes. Enter at the Chamber booth from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (extra entries available with Village purchases).

Event Tips:

Overflow parking is available at South Atlantic Bank and the McGill Law Firm complex. And attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the music.
