Center for Developmental Services (CDS) Receives Hollingsworth Grant

GREENVILLE, SC – The Center for Developmental Services (CDS) is proud to announce the receipt of a $35,000 grant from the Hollingsworth Foundation.  This gift will help CDS broaden its reach in the Upstate through strategic and marketing initiatives.  CDS is a resource in our community where families who have a child with a disability can turn for help.  From diagnosis and evaluation to treatment and therapy, the CDS partnership strives to be a beacon of hope for those navigating the world of disabilities.  “

CDS is a unique partnership linking individuals and families with multi-disciplinary services for developmental evaluation, treatment, education and support.  The partnership is made up of Clarity: The Speech, Hearing and Learning Center;  Family Connection of S.C., Inc.;  Greenville County School District; Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Kidnetics and The Wonder Center of the Children’s Hospital of Greenville Health System; and KidVentures of the Greenville County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.  CDS and its partners serve over 6,000 children and families each year in one facility located on property donated by the First Presbyterian Church at 29 North Academy Street in Greenville.   For more information about CDS or its partners, visit www.cdservices.org.
