Center for Developmental Services Hires Kimberly Perez as new Outreach Coordinator

April 28, 2015

GREENVILLE, SC – The Center for Developmental Services’ (CDS) announced its selection of Kim Perez as their new Coordinator of Outreach and Bilingual Services.  Perez will be the organization’s main interpreter and will also coordinate their outreach efforts in the community.

“With one in six children having some type of delay, there is a significant need for continued awareness of services available in our community,” said Dana McConnell, CDS Executive Director.  “Kim has the energy and compassion to lead this effort, and she relates so well with our families.”

Perez earned her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of South Carolina and is involved in several non-profit organizations throughout the state.  “I am excited to join the CDS team and continue the ongoing efforts of educating parents about our partner services,” Perez said.

The CDS outreach program is supported by the United Way. For more than five years, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System has provided additional support through health awareness events, outreach activities and a bilingual educational kiosk in the lobby.
