Central Carolina Community Foundation to Host April 23 Wine Dinner at Hampton Street Vineyard

COLUMBIA, SC – April 23, 2013 – Central Carolina Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving 11 counties in the Midlands by helping charitable individuals and businesses meet the needs of our community, will host the next event in the Central Carolina Food & Wine Series on Tuesday, April 23 at Hampton Street Vineyard.

The April 23 dinner is sponsored by BB&T and will feature a four-course dinner prepared by Hampton Street Vineyard’s Chef/ Co-Owner Bill Murphy and his culinary team. Two complementary wines have been paired with each course and Jean Pierre Chambas of Aleph Wines Corporation will educate guests about each pairing. This dinner features an Old World vs. New World theme and guests will be able to sample great wines from each style. 

Tickets for the Hampton Street Vineyard Wine Dinner are $100 per person and may be purchased at www.yourfoundation.org. The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and seating is limited. All proceeds assist the Community Foundation in awarding grants to nonprofits in the Midlands.

Grilled loin of lamb on a bed of minted couscous with a sundried tomato tapenade coulis and a side of charred carrot, toasted almond and goat cheese
