Students selected for coveted Partners Program internships

The Partners Program at Lexington Medical Center is a summer career awareness program that provides Lexington County’s most ambitious high school students the opportunity to explore careers in health care and to work alongside hospital staff in clinical areas. Launched in 1990, this highly selective program gives each participant a thorough introduction to the rigors and rewards associated with a career in the health care industry. This year 62 students were hand selected to participate from 13 Lexington area high schools. The Partners Program is made possible through the Lexington Medical Center Foundation which provides educational materials and other supplies to each participant.
