Charles and Jean Simmons Plaque added to NOH Wall of Honor

NEWBERRY, SC – Long time Newberry Opera House supporters Charles and Jean Simmons pictured in front of the plaque inscribed in their honor at the Newberry Opera House. Mr. Simmons donated $5,000 dollars to honor his wife Jean for her birthday.
Jean graduated from Newberry High School, but moved away, and then she and Charles returned to Newberry, where they are very active in the community and continue to give back so much.
“Jean is a long time Ambassador/Volunteer at the Opera House, where her warm smile and gracious words have welcomed many a guest,” says Deborah Smith, Executive Director of the Newberry Opera House.
