Charleston ABOTA Chapter installs 2016 officers

The Charleston Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) has installed its 2016 officers:

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP partner G. Mark Phillips will serve as president; Rosen, Rosen and Hagood Managing Member Richard S. Rosen is immediate past president; Griffith Sharp Liipfert LLC member Mary E. Sharp is president-elect; Uricchio, Howe, Krell, Jacobson, Toporek, Theos & Keith P.A. partner Alan David Toporek is vice president; and Hood Law Firm LLC partner Molly Hood Craig is secretary treasurer.

ABOTA is an invitation only voluntary bar association that consists of no more than 5 percent of the members of the trial bar. The organization seeks to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy to the end that individual litigants may receive more effective representation and the general public be benefited by more efficient administration of justice consistent with time-tested and traditional principles of litigation, according to the organization.
