Charleston Farmers Market and West Ashley Farmers Market are back for the season
April 15, 2025Charleston and West Ashley Farmers Markets Return for 2025 Season
The Charleston and West Ashley Farmers Markets are officially back for the 2025 season. The downtown market at Marion Square will open Saturday, April 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The West Ashley market at Ackerman Park will begin Wednesday, April 23, and run weekly from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Both markets will continue through late fall.
Each week, visitors can expect a range of offerings, including fresh produce, herbs, flowers, plants, artisan goods, food trucks, and live music.
The markets are organized by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Parks Department and the Special Events Committee, along with support from local vendors and artists.

The Charleston Farmers Market has been a community staple since it began in 1989 with support from the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service.
