Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Announces New Position Appointments

CHARLESTON, SC – Two new professionals recently joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce team.

Keri Scott, Events and Sponsorship Manager
.
Keri Scott is the Chamber’s new Manager of Events and Sponsorship. She is a part of the Membership department and is responsible for the Chamber’s signature events and all aspects of both member and sponsor relations with these events.
 .
Prior to joining the Charleston Metro Chamber, Keri was the Director of Communications for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. She also has an Entrepreneurial background demonstrated through her creation of her own business in the home organization field in 2007. Prior to the start of her company, one of Scott’s first jobs out of college was working as a buyer for the menswear company, Jos. A. Bank.
Scott graduated from the University of Delaware where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Art Design. She is originally from Riverside, California, but lived most of her life on the east coast; most recently, High Point, NC. Keri resides in Charleston National in Mt. Pleasant with her four and a half year old daughter, Aslyn.

Christina Fraser, Advocacy Manager

Christina Fraser is the Chamber’s new Manager of Business Advocacy. She works in the Advancement department of the Chamber and her duties include remaining informed about what is going on in the region, specifically regarding issues that affect businesses, and advocating for pro-business issues. She attends meetings in the community to stay up-to-date on what’s happening and report back to the Chamber members on various committees to keep them informed on relevant issues.

Prior to working at the Charleston Metro Chamber, Christina was an attorney in Pittsburgh for two years. During her second year working there, she started her own firm called Fraser Law, LLC.
 .
Fraser attended Winthrop University for her undergraduate degree, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She then continued her education and attended the West Virginia University College of Law where he earned her Law degree. Christina is originally from Mt. Pleasant and has returned back home after living all over the country for the past 10 years.
