Charleston Parks Conservancy Hires New Director of Operations

CHARLESTON, SC –  Amanda Coté has joined the Charleston Parks Conservancy as director of operations. In her role at the nonprofit, Coté manages the Conservancy’s main office, provides human resources support to the staff, assists with financial and fundraising management, provides support to the executive director and serves as liaison for the Conservancy’s board of directors.

Prior to joining the Conservancy, Coté was director of operations for the Charleston Promise Neighborhood for nearly four years. Coté has volunteered with many of Charleston’s nonprofits for more than 15 years, currently serving as a mentor and literacy volunteer for three elementary school students.

A graduate of Clemson University, Coté enjoys exploring Charleston and its parks by foot and bicycle with her husband, Gilles.
