A Conversation with Taylor Black and Jordan Medley, Charleys Clothing & Apparel.

Entrepreneurship, The Arts, Diversity, Giving Back

Friends since college, Jordan Medley and Taylor Black, share a deep love for fashion, their faith, their families and outfitting women of the Midlands in affordable and stylish clothing and accessories. Charley’s Clothing and Apparel, a company the pair started roughly two years ago and is named after both their fathers, utilizes the power of social media – on Instagram @CharleysClothing and on Facebook at Charley’s Clothing and Apparel – as their primary platform to feature and sell dresses, tops, necklaces, earrings, purses, skirts and shorts.

Jordan and Taylor strive to create a company whose mission is to make shopping an enjoyable and easy process, as well as one that regularly gives back to their native communities. Since the start, Charley’s Clothing and Apparel has provided financial donations to noteworthy organizations like the MS Society, the Ronald McDonald House and the Junior Women’s Club of Lexington. In addition, the duo contributed $2,000 toward Columbia’s flood relief efforts last October.

Incorporating fashion, fun and paying it forward, Charley’s Clothing and Apparel is definitely a Midlands company On the Move!
