Chernoff Newman’s Catherine Ramirez graduates from Leadership Columbia

Chernoff Newman, an integrated marketing communications agency, announced Catherine Ramirez’s recent graduation from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Columbia program.
Catherine Ramirez is a social media and public relations specialist at the agency, a role she’s held since joining Chernoff Newman in 2018. She is responsible for developing, supporting and executing integrated communication strategies for a variety of Chernoff Newman’s clients including South Carolina Department of Agriculture and South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services.
Catherine is also a graduate of the United Way of the Midlands’ Blueprint for Leadership program, a member of the Junior League of Columbia, and serves on the board of Women in Philanthropy (WIP), the South Carolina American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the South Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA).
The Leadership Columbia Class of 2021 is the 48th class to graduate from the program, joining the ranks of more than 2,000 graduates in the Midlands. The 10-month program is designed to create well-rounded civic leaders in the region. Applicants were selected based on their civic involvement, leadership potential, diversity of perspective and commitment to the leadership program and the community.
Catherine joins Chernoff Newman’s long list of Leadership Columbia graduates including Lee Bussell, David Campbell, Heather Price and Elizabeth Wynn.
