Christ Central Ministries to Host Community Prayer Breakfast for Laurens County

February 1, 2025

Residents, business leaders, and local officials will come together on Friday, February 7, 2025, for a Community Prayer Breakfast hosted by Christ Central Ministries – Joanna/Clinton. The event, taking place at 710 Magnolia Street, Joanna, will begin at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast, followed by a prayer ceremony from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

This gathering is part of a larger initiative by Christ Central Ministries, which will hold simultaneous Prayer Conferences at its mission stations across South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and beyond. The event will begin with a live stream from the main host location, CCM Oconee, led by Directors Ashley and Tiffany Williams. Following the opening broadcast, attendees in Joanna will participate in a dedicated time of prayer focusing on key aspects of Laurens County:

  • Education
  • Commerce
  • Government
  • Church
  • Individuals and Families
  • First Responders

Organizers encourage community members to attend and join in unified prayer, emphasizing the power of faith in strengthening Laurens County.

“We believe now is the time for unity through corporate prayer,” said Erica Goldsmith, Director of Christ Central Ministries – Joanna/Clinton. “This event is an opportunity for us to come together as a community, seeking God’s guidance and blessings over our schools, businesses, leaders, and families.”

The Community Prayer Breakfast is open to everyone, and attendees are welcome to invite others who may benefit from this time of reflection and encouragement.
