Christ Church Episcopal hires new Director of Summer & Afternoon Activities

GREENVILLE, SC – August 2010 – Christ Church Episcopal School welcomes Sarah Bell as new Director of Summer & Afternoon Encounters.  She comes to the school from Sylvan Learning Center, where she was most recently Director of Marketing. Her communications and operational management skills, as well as her ability to build local relationships with schools, businesses, and the community, will all be assets in her new position. This year CCES Summer Encounters hosted 636 campers in 92 different programs.

 

Christ Church Episcopal School is a coeducational, college-preparatory day school in the Episcopal tradition for students in grades Primer-12.  Serving approximately 1,000 students on a 72-acre campus, the school offers small classes, a nurturing environment, weekly chapel services, Advanced Placement and Honors courses in the Upper School, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years and Diploma Programs. Since 1972 the school’s strong academic programs have produced 156 National Merit Finalists. A total of 86% of graduates from the Class of 2010 qualified for SC Palmetto Fellows, Life, or Hope Scholarships, and the class posted a 100% IB Diploma pass rate.
