CHS Girls Tennis Team to Compete in Upper State Championship Tonight

The CHS Girls Tennis Team will compete in the Upper State Championship tonight after easing through their playoff draw thus far. They beat Berea in round 1, 6-0. They beat Seneca in round 2, 6-0. And they traveled to the Region 1-AAA champs in Belton and beat them 7-0, with a resounding win at #1 doubles of 8-0! Tonight, the girls will travel to Chapman to meet their in-conference rivals and hope to take down the reigning Upper State champs.
Win or lose, they’ve progressed to the Final Four in AAA high school tennis and have demonstrated sportsmanship through it all.
