CHS Graduate Nathan Meade Awarded Teresa Graddick Memorial Scholarship
June 17, 2025Clinton High School graduate Nathan Meade has been named the 2025 recipient of the Teresa Graddick Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was established in memory of Mrs. Teresa Graddick, a beloved nurse at Clinton High School, who passed away in the summer of 2020. Her family and friends created the scholarship to honor her legacy and support CHS graduates pursuing careers in healthcare.
This fall, Nathan will begin his studies at Clemson University Honors College, where he plans to major in Biochemistry. His long-term goal is to become an ophthalmologist—a path that reflects both his academic drive and his commitment to serving others through healthcare.
The Teresa Graddick Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a Clinton High School senior who exemplifies excellence, leadership, and a desire to enter the healthcare field. Nathan’s impressive academic achievements and service-oriented mindset make him a fitting recipient of this year’s award.
