Cinco de Rita’s launches May 5

FOLLY BEACH, S.C. – Rita’s Seaside Grille is shaking up this year’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations by hosting its first ever Cinco De Rita’s event Friday, May 5, 2023. This Folly fiesta will feature it all—food stations, margaritas, beer tents and live music from Mr. Fahrenheit, The Houk Brothers, and a traditional puppet performance by Bernie Beauchamp of Beaupromo Puppetry.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Surfers Healing, a non-profit organization enriching the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing.

“We’re thrilled to host our first Cinco De Rita’s event and a chance to support a worthy cause near and dear to our hearts here on Folly,” said Tommy Hall, Proprietor of Hall Management Group.

Chuck Isenburg, Rita’s general manager says the Folly community has been a tremendous support for Rita’s and this event is one way to give something back. “We cannot wait to welcome our guests to this event, which is made even more special with a rare performance from Mr. Fahrenheit. It’s guaranteed to be a great time!”

Cinco de Rita’s is a family-friendly celebration open to all ages. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by visiting the event page. Gates open at 3:00 p.m.
