Donors at the Federal Service Academies and Senior Military Colleges, examined the philanthropic motivations of major benefactors who attended the federal service academies or the six senior military colleges and universities in the United States.

His findings will be shared with the participating institutions to help them better understand their alumni base.  The research will also help determine whether there are differentiating characteristics among the donors at the aforementioned schools in comparison to the existing research on donor motivations among alumni of other institutions of higher education.
