“Every month, we will focus on a specific topic of interest about the City of Columbia and share facts, statistics and details that citizens may not know about our city,” stated Public and Media Relations Director Leshia Utsey.

In addition, there will be monthly Know Your City feature departments selected to highlight details about each City department. The feature departments this month are Community Development and Columbia-Richland 9-1-1 Communications Center.

This week, from March 28 – April 2, the City recognizes National Community Development Week.
