City Center Partnership Appoints Martha Studstill of Uptown on Main as Chair of its Marketing & Communications Committee

Columbia, SC – City Center Partnership (CCP) announced that Martha Studstill, owner of Uptown on Main, has been appointed chair of CCP’s Marketing & Communications Committee.   She will help manage the committee’s strategic marketing efforts.

“We are delighted to have Martha Studstill, a recognized leader in the retail community, leading City Center Partnership’s downtown marketing efforts,” said Matt Kennell, president & CEO of CCP.

“When I think about South Carolina’s Main Street, I think about City Center Partnership,” said Martha Studstill.  “No one organization has done more to effect a change in Columbia’s downtown than City Center Partnership. Their vision and commitment to the downtown business district has resulted in new office towers, hotels, residential living, improved parking, and retailers returning to Columbia’s Main Street.  I’m excited to serve as the chair of their marketing committee and look forward to continuing communication of the importance of a vibrant downtown.”

Martha Studstill has served as a member of the City Center Partnership’s Board since 2012.  She opened Uptown on Main Street in 2008.
