Dog registration helps ensure compliance with rabies vaccination laws and supports a safer, healthier community for everyone.
How to Register Your Dog:
-
Where: Utility Billing Office, 300 W. Pitts Street, Clinton, SC
-
Fee: $3.00 per dog
-
What to Bring:
-
Proof of current rabies vaccination
-
Pet’s name, address, breed, color, and sex
-
Each registered dog will be issued a metal tag that must be worn on the dog’s collar at all times. Tags are not transferrable between animals.
“We encourage all dog owners to complete registration promptly,” Joey Meadors, City Manager noted when the Buzz reached out for comment. “It’s a small but important step in keeping our community safe and pet-friendly.”
