City of Clinton to Celebrate Grand Opening of Vance Park Splash Pad

June 11, 2025

Just in time for summer, the City of Clinton is inviting families to cool off and celebrate the Grand Opening of the Splash Pad at Vance Park on Friday, June 13. The fun begins at 198 W. Florida Street, where children and families can enjoy this brand-new water feature that promises to be a refreshing addition to local summertime fun.

The splash pad will be open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making it an easy go-to destination for free family fun all season long. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from nearby, the Vance Park Splash Pad offers a vibrant, safe place for kids to play, cool off, and burn off energy.

City officials encourage everyone to join the grand opening festivities, bring the kids, wear swimsuits, and come ready to make a splash. The addition of the splash pad reflects Clinton’s ongoing commitment to improving recreational amenities and enhancing the quality of life for residents of all ages.

“This project is part of our broader vision to reinvest in our parks and create more family-friendly spaces across the city,” said Clinton Mayor Randy Randall. “We want our residents—especially our children—to have a place to enjoy summer, stay active, and make great memories right here in their own community.”
