City of Columbia office of Special Events to host seminar regarding information on potential funding opportunities for Special Events

Who: Harold Reaves, City of Columbia Special Events Coordinator, Tina Saxon, Grants Coordinator for the City of Columbia, and Laura Truell, Instructor of Sports Entertainment Management for the University of South Carolina
What: This is the second workshop within a series of workshops designed to assist and prepare event managers with planning, producing, and administering their events. Topical areas for this series will include: Event Management 101, Staffing, Risk Management/Liability, Insurance, and Potential Sponsorship/Funding.
This particular workshop will help event managers learn about funding programs through the City of Columbia and identifying information that sponsors need to increase the probability of funding.
