City of Columbia to close the North end of Riverfront Park to perform vegetation clearing

Beginning Tuesday, January 11, the City of Columbia will close the North end of Riverfront Park (4122 River Drive) on weekdays until 4 pm to perform vegetation clearing from both sides of the canal embankment.  Guests can use the south entry to Riverfront Park (312 Laurel) but will not have access to the full length of the trail.

The park will be fully open evenings and weekends.

We encourage everyone to visit the Saluda Riverwalk, 650 Candi Lane as an alternative during this time.
