City of Fountain Inn Welcomes New Main Street Coordinator

Main Street Fountain Inn is excited to welcome Clare Jones as the City’s new Main Street Coordinator. Jones officially began her role on June 1 and now serves as part of the City of Fountain Inn Community Relations Department, supporting the continued growth, promotion, and revitalization of downtown Fountain Inn.
Downtown Fountain Inn became an aspiring South Carolina Main Street community in 2021 and earned designation as an official South Carolina Main Street community in 2022, joining a nationwide movement focused on preservation-based economic development and downtown revitalization. Through the Main Street Four-Point Approach®, the program works to preserve Fountain Inn’s historic character while strengthening the social, cultural, and economic vitality of downtown.
As Main Street Coordinator, Jones will help lead initiatives focused on downtown promotion, business engagement, community partnerships, tourism, volunteer coordination, and event support, while helping advance the long-term vision for Main Street Fountain Inn.
Jones brings a diverse background in education, communication, project coordination, and organizational leadership. Her experience includes instructional design, community engagement, volunteer leadership, partnership coordination, and strategic communications. She most recently served with Greenville County Schools and has been actively involved with the Junior League of Greenville, where she helped develop advocacy and educational programming initiatives.
