City of Georgetown to host Mayor’s Forum on Stormwater and Flooding

Mayor Jay Doyle will host a Mayor’s Forum focusing on stormwater and flooding concerns on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
Location & Access:

Venue: The forum will be held in the new City Council Chambers, located at 420C S. Hazard St., Georgetown, SC 29440. Please note that this venue replaces the previously used Winyah Auditorium.

Livestream: For those unable to attend in person, the forum will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook Page.
Meeting Notice: Please note that the City Council Special Meeting/Workshop originally scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM has been canceled. The Mayor’s Forum will take place in its stead, and no formal action will be taken during this event.
