City partners host networking event for mental health and youth support professionals

The City of Columbia’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement is teaming up with The G.R.I.T. Project to host a community networking event aimed at professionals working in mental health, education, and youth coaching.

The GRIT Connections Networking Mixer will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Busby Street Community Center, located at 1735 Busby Street in Columbia.

The event is designed to recognize and connect individuals who support youth and mental wellness in the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, share ideas, and explore ways to strengthen support systems for young people.

The G.R.I.T. Project focuses on mental health awareness, resilience, and career development for youth, while the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement works to strengthen communities through outreach and resources.
