City releases traffic analysis study for Bull Street Redevelopment project

A Traffic Analysis Study for the Bull Street Redevelopment project is now available. This report pertains to the entire development and is not specific to the Multi-Use Entertainment Venue. The study reflects a phased implementation plan based on the multiple phases of the development. The purpose of this Traffic Analysis Study is to review vehicular traffic impacts as a result of the proposed Multi-Use Entertainment Venue. The study has been submitted to SCDOT for review and approval, please consider this a draft until approved.  There may be modifications made prior to the final approved version.

The objectives of the study are:

  • To estimate trip generation and distribution for the proposed development.
  • To perform capacity analyses for the identified study area.
  • To determine the potential traffic impacts of the proposed development.
  • To develop recommendations for needed roadway and operational improvements to accommodate the proposed development’s traffic impacts while being sensitive to the existing land uses, roadway network and surrounding neighborhoods.
