City to hold information sessions on ADA compliance study

September 27, 2019

The City of Greenville recently retained the WT Group’s Accessibility Consulting team to evaluate its parks and recreation sites, policies and programs for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Before the WT Group submits its final report, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department will host two public information sessions to:

  • Review the ADA requirements
  • Review ADA enforcement trends
  • Review key findings from the report
  • Discuss the consultants’ recommendations

The first information session will be held on Wednesday, October 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the 1st Floor Conference Room at City Hall (206 S Main St.). The second information session will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the 1st Floor Conference Room at City Hall. The same information will be shared at both meetings and members of the public are invited to attend the session that is most convenient for them.
