City to host three open houses on the development code

April 4, 2022

The City of Greenville’s Development Code project team is hosting open houses for the five small area study areas: North Laurens Road, McAlister Square, Augusta-Mauldin-Pleasantburg, Greater Sullivan and Stone + Main. Representatives from each area have been working with the consultants who are writing the City’s new development code to identify opportunities and issues that the code may be able to address.

These open houses are open to everyone!

While the information will be geographically focused on the five small study areas, these areas were selected because they are representative of other areas within the City. In other words, input at these open houses will be applicable citywide.

At each open house, the consultants will share zoning information specific to the areas and present their findings to date. Attendees will have an opportunity to provide input and help guide the project team’s efforts. There will not be a formal presentation at the open houses, so the public is invited to stop by anytime.
