Clawson and Staubes names four new members

Clawson and Staubes, LLC, a full-service law firm based in Charleston with offices in Columbia, Greenville and Charlotte, announced three new members to the firm ─ Trey Nicolette, Jessica Salerno, Jeanmarie Tankersley and Lauren Vriesinga.

Trey Nicolette, based out of the Charleston office, graduated from Juniata College in 2004 with a bachelor degree in biology. He then attended the Charleston School of Law and graduated with a juris doctor in 2011. He joined Clawson and Staubes in 2017, practicing with the litigation team. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star,” which honors no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in South Carolina.

Jessica Salerno, based out of the Charleston office, practices in the general civil litigation group with a focus on business litigation and insurance defense. Jessica attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree and graduated cum laude. She then attended Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law and graduated with a juris doctor in 2012. Jessica joined Clawson and Staubes in 2017.

Jeanmarie Tankersley, based out of the Greenville office, joined Clawson and Staubes in 2017. She attended the College of Charleston for undergraduate school and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in History and minors in both Psychology and Political Science. She attended the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2012. Jeanmarie focuses her practice in the areas of personal injury defense, government liability, and general civil defense litigation. Outside of her legal practice, Jeanmarie spends her time serving on the Executive Committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar, the Steering Committee for DRI Young Lawyers, the College of Charleston Alumni Board of Directors, and the Junior League of Greenville. Jeanmarie has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” and as “Greenville Legal Elite” by Greenville Business Magazine. She has recently been selected for the Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville Class 46.

Lauren Vriesinga, based out of the Charleston office, graduated magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University with an undergraduate degree and graduated cum laude with a juris doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. She joined Clawson and Staubes in 2015 and practices general civil litigation, including construction defect and personal injury litigation. Lauren also practices in the areas of alcohol beverage licensing and defense and retail and hospitality.
