May 6, 2025

Clemson University will honor more than 5,000 graduates this week during its Spring Commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum. The events, held from May 6 to May 9, will recognize students earning bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

Commencement kicks off Tuesday, May 6, at 3 p.m. with a ceremony for Ph.D. graduates. Undergraduate ceremonies will take place Thursday, May 8, at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. On Friday, May 9, both undergraduate and master’s degree recipients will be recognized in three ceremonies at the same times.

The Class of 2025 reflects Clemson’s continued academic progress. The university’s 4-year graduation rate reached a record high of 71 percent, significantly above the national average. The 6-year graduation rate stands at 86.6 percent, the second-highest in school history.

Graduates represent 44 of South Carolina’s 46 counties. The top home states for out-of-state students include North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, and Virginia. About 12 percent of the class are first-generation college graduates.

Popular majors among this year’s graduates include marketing, management, financial management, biological sciences, psychology, and various engineering disciplines.

All ceremonies will be held at Littlejohn Coliseum, located at 219 Perimeter Road in Clemson. For parking information, contact [email protected].
