Clinton Accepting Applications for Three Planning Commission Seats

The City of Clinton is accepting applications for open seats on its Planning Commission, with vacancies available in Ward 2, Ward 4 and one at-large position.
Planning Commission members help guide the city’s growth by reviewing development proposals, making recommendations on zoning and land use, and working to ensure responsible development that benefits the community.
Any resident living within the city limits is eligible to apply for the at-large seat. The Ward 2 and Ward 4 seats are open to residents of those respective wards.
Residents interested in serving can apply online at www.cityofclintonsc.com under the Boards and Commissions section by selecting Planning Commission. Applications are also available in person at the Bailey Municipal Center.
City officials encourage residents who want to take an active role in shaping Clinton’s future to submit an application.
