Clinton Canopy Beautification Activity Continues

January 15, 2022

From blah to beautiful.

The intersection of highway 56 and 72 recently received a facelift courtesy of Clinton Canopy.

The project which was planned by Clinton Canopy was funded by a grant from The Bailey Foundation and a Community Assistance grant from the City of Clinton. In the revitalization of the intersection, the group planted a Chinese fringe tree, pink muhly grass, color guard yuccas, and daylilies.  In the Spring they will add plants from the Clinton High School plant sale.

“We’re excited to have the support of the community as we look for ways to beautify our city,” said Susan Galloway, president of Clinton Canopy.
