Clinton Economic Development Corporation Closes on Sale of 75 Acres for New Subdivision

Clinton Economic Development Corporation recently closed on the sale of 75 acres that will be developed for much needed housing.  The property known as Clinton Park Corp Center 3, is accessed by Robert M. Vance Road (accessed via Springdale Drive) and is strategically located between three schools, Eastside Elementary School, Clinton Middle School and Clinton High.

The property was sold to STP Development, and they are working with DR Horton to build 260 homes on the acreage purchased.

“We are excited to have new homes coming to Clinton. New roof tops will improve our ability to recruit retail. Located between Eastside Elementary, Clinton Middle and Clinton High schools make this area ideal for residential,” said Marvin Moss, Economic Development Manager for the City of Clinton.

The builder will offer seven models and several different elevations for each (front, side and rear designs). The homes will vary in size from 1,400 to 2,500 sq feet and the home prices will range from $180,000-$290,000. The neighborhood will also include a clubhouse complete with swimming pool and other amenities.

Grading for the project is expected to start soon and building of model homes should begin before the end of the year.
