Clinton Family YMCA Renovates Indoor Pool and Adds Cardio Equipment

If you’re a member of the Clinton Family YMCA you’ve noticed some changes lately.

The first upgrade is the renovation of the indoor pool. Being the only indoor pool in Laurens County and built in the 1970’s it was time for some upgrades and repairs to the pool and hot tub.

Some of the upgrades include:

• All new filtration and chlorination systems in both the pool and
  whirlpool
• Sealed and reinforced the ceiling area
• New Vacuum system
• Tile repair and regroutting of the entire pool
• New ladders and steps
• Retouched depth markers

The second change is the addition of  all new Matrix and Octane cardio equipment including a new Smith Machine and new bars and dumbbells. The “beefed Up” cardio extension with dumbbells, kettlebells and Matrix cardio equipment is good for those who prefer a smaller work out setting.

“Everyone at the Clinton Family YMCA, is excited about the pool renovations and upgrades, said Executive Director Harold Nichols. “It will enhance the water activities for the people of our community. We have also upgraded our strength and conditioning area with new equipment that includes a new section of

Another upgrade coming soon is the installation of a new steam generator in the mens sauna.
