Clinton Fire Department Announces Third Annual Smoke Alarm Blitz

The City of Clinton Fire Department’s Third Annual Smoke Alarm Blitz is scheduled for October 15th.

Department personnel, along with the Red Cross and state fire partners will respond to anyone’s home and install the correct number of operating smoke alarms for your residence, free of charge!

“Clinton Fire Department is committed to serving our citizens and enhancing their safety, “said Fire Chief Jeremy Marshall.

Take this opportunity to make your home safer.  Residents can sign up online, at the utility department, or at the public safety building.

The blitz is open to all residents within the fire district and is open to home owners and renters. The goal is to have the sufficient number of working smoke alarms in every home in the district. A house properly equipped with these life saving devices exponentially increase occupant’s safety in the event of a fire.
