Clinton Is the Place to Be This Saturday — Two Big Events, One Amazing Day
April 22, 2026Saturday, April 25 is shaping up to be a full day worth circling on the calendar, with two community events offering residents and visitors plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the season.
Rhythm on the Rails Returns to Downtown
Downtown Clinton will host the annual Rhythm on the Rails festival at the Clinton Depot on North Broad Street from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The free, family-friendly event features more than 30 vendors, live entertainment throughout the day, amusement rides, face painting, games, and activities for all ages. Local businesses are encouraged to stay open, and some are expected to extend their hours to welcome festival visitors.
The performance lineup runs from morning through evening, opening with the Clinton Elementary School Pan Jammers at 10:30 a.m., followed by Dance South, the Clinton Middle School Band, Dixie Barnes & Ben Bagwell, Exit 83 Band, and closing with LEVELZ at 5:00 p.m.
“Rhythm on the Rails provides us with the opportunity to celebrate our community, support local businesses, and showcase all that downtown Clinton has to offer,” said City Manager Joey Meadors. “We’re excited to welcome residents and visitors for what promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family.”
Parking will be available behind the Industrial Supply Building at 213-225 West Main Street and along West Main Street and surrounding downtown areas. Rhythm on the Rails is free to attend. For more information, contact Amelia Davenport at 864-200-4591.
LushAcres Spring Festival Benefits Thornwell
Just a short drive from downtown, LushAcres Farm will host its annual Spring Festival at 1875 W. Maple St. Ext. in Clinton from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Every dollar spent at the event goes directly to support the mission and programs of Thornwell, the Clinton-based organization that serves children and families across the region.
The LushAcres Spring Festival is one of the most anticipated community events of the season, drawing families for a full day of activities that span from barnyard animal visits to gem mining. Little ones can enjoy corn cannons, a corn pit, a jump pad, face painting, a mini-train, and the LushAcres playground. Wagon rides give the whole family a chance to take in the farm, and the gem mine consistently draws a crowd of young treasure hunters. For those who want to bring a little bit of the farm home, U-Pick strawberries will be available throughout the day.
Fresh Flavors and New Additions
The food lineup at LushAcres is a festival highlight in its own right. Returning favorites include BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, french fries, cheese curds, corn nuggets, popcorn, and strawberry pies. This year brings a new addition to the menu — Strawberry Puffed Pastries — joining an already well-loved spread. Guests can wash it all down with fresh-pressed lemonade, cold brew coffee, or a strawberry slushie.
A Saturday Worth Saving
Together, the two events offer something for everyone — from live music and local shopping in the heart of downtown to farm fun and fresh strawberries just down the road. Whether families choose one or make a full day of both, Clinton has plenty in store on April 25.
