Clinton YMCA Announces Search for New CEO

Earlier this year, Gene Simmons, CEO of the Clinton Family YMCA, announced his plans to retire, effective December 31, 2020. Simmons has served the Clinton YMCA organization for over 43 years since June 1, 1977; leading the organization the last 40 years as its CEO.
The Clinton YMCA board has now launched the search for Simmons’ replacement.
The CEO of the Clinton YMCA is responsible for establishing and implementing the mission, vision, goals, and values of the YMCA within the organization and the community.
The successful candidate will achieve excellence in the following areas:
- Organizational Leadership
- Improve Operating Performance through Fiscal Management Model Practices
- Fundraising
- Advocate the YMCA Vision within the Community and be a Collaborator
- Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan
