Coffee with a Cop Returns to Laurens for Community Engagement
March 19, 2025Laurens County residents will have another opportunity to connect with local law enforcement over a cup of coffee at the upcoming Coffee with a Cop event. Hosted by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Laurens Police Department (LPD), the event is set to take place on Friday, March 21, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Whiteford’s of Laurens.
Coffee with a Cop provides a relaxed and informal setting for community members to meet and engage with local deputies and officers. The event fosters open conversations, allowing residents to share concerns, ask questions, and build stronger relationships with those who serve and protect Laurens County.
“This is always a fun event and a great way for people to get to know the men and women who work to keep our community safe,” shared Courtney Snow, Public Information Officer. “We encourage everyone to attend, share ideas, and enjoy a cup of coffee on us.”
Coffee with a Cop has been a successful initiative in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community, strengthening trust, and promoting dialogue. There is no agenda—just coffee and conversation.
Residents are encouraged to stop by Whiteford’s, grab a cup of coffee, and take part in this valuable opportunity to engage with local law enforcement.
