Cohn Construction breaks ground on a new 100,000 SF distribution center for FAYAT Group

RIDGEWAY, SC – Cohn Construction has broken ground on a new 100,000 SF distribution center for the FAYAT Group, located on a 30-acre site at 321 Blue Granite Parkway in Ridgeway, SC
The groundbreaking ceremony, held on June 25, welcomed South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, local officials, and community leaders from Fairfield County Economic Development, along with representatives from both Cohn Construction and FAYAT Group. This event marked a significant milestone for the region’s industrial growth and FAYAT’s ongoing investment in South Carolina.
Designed to support FAYAT’s North American distribution operations, the new facility will consist of 96,500 SF of warehouse space and 3,500 SF of office space. The building is being constructed using precast concrete walls and a structural steel frame with a 32-foot clear height to accommodate high pile storage.
