David A. McKinley, CPA, Chief Financial Officer of Cohn Construction, has been named a 2026 Leader in Business & Finance honoree by SCBIZ. The award recognizes financial professionals for leadership, professional achievement, and contributions to their organizations and the South Carolina community.
As CFO, David has played a key role in strengthening Cohn Construction’s financial performance through strategic risk management and enhanced financial oversight. Over the past six years, he has implemented processes that reduce financial exposure, protect profitability, and support disciplined, long-term growth. In addition to leading financial operations, he contributes to company-wide strategy and supports continued project growth.
Outside of his professional role, David co-founded PattyPacks with his wife, a nonprofit organization supporting families of children with pediatric heart conditions and has served as a church treasurer for more than 12 years. David and his wife share a passion for serving others while raising their two children and contributing to the communities they call home in South Carolina.
