Coldwell Banker Caine names industry veteran Amanda Hamet President

Proven leader becomes first woman President in company history
Coldwell Banker Caine, the premier provider of full-service real estate in the Upstate, announced that Amanda Hamet has been named President. Hamet, a stalwart of one of the Upstate’s largest residential real estate firms, joined Coldwell Banker Caine in 2014 and has served as Broker in Charge for both the Greenville and Anderson offices, as well as VP and Sales leader, and as SVP of Sales. Most recently, Hamet served as EVP of Sales for the organization, directing a high-performing team of real estate professionals. Since Hamet joined the company, Coldwell Banker Caine has closed $9.8 billion in total sales volume while serving 31,802 families. In her new role as President, Hamet will lead Coldwell Banker Caine’s team of 220 full-service, full-time agents with a continued focus on market expertise, a strong culture for clients and agents, dedication to the community, and a consistent, premium service offering for the Upstate’s growing real estate market.

In addition to Hamet’s new role as President of Coldwell Banker Caine, Mark Ratchford is President of KDS Caine and Chris Hayes is President of Caine Hayes Insurance. Stephen Edgerton serves as CEO for CB Caine and KDS Caine and in a senior leadership role at Caine Hayes Insurance to ensure synergy among the brands.

Hamet earned her Bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech and her MBA at Clemson University. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors in 2023 and 2024. She has been a dedicated member of the South Carolina Association of Realtor Forms Committee for nine of the past ten years, most recently serving as chair in 2024.
