Colleton Medical Center announces new Board of Trustees members

WALTERBORO, SC –  Colleton Medical Center welcomes two new members to its Board of Trustees- Virginia Salley and Barry Moore.  Salley and Moore will replace former members, Ann C. Carmichael, PhD, and Patricia Grant.

Virginia Salley is the founder and CEO of Salley’s Fine Chocolate, Inc.  Salley attended Benedict College and the University of South Carolina.  Salley has been involved in a number of community organizations, including the Jacqueline Elvira Hodges Johnson Fund, where she served on the Board of Directors for more than twenty years.

Barry Moore is the publisher behind The Press and Standard, which delivers local news to the residents of Colleton County.  Moore graduated from The University of Tennessee, and his career includes thirty-seven years of publishing community newspapers.  In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Southern Alliance and Walterboro-Colleton Chamber of Commerce.
