Colliers brokers receive prestigious Everest Award for top performance nationwide

Colliers brokers Garrett Scott, SIOR, John Montgomery, SIOR, Brockton Hall, SIOR and Chuck Salley, SIOR have been awarded Colliers USA’s prestigious Everest Award for top production in 2023. The Everest Club recognizes the top 10% of Colliers professionals in the United States.

All recipients of this year’s award in South Carolina specialize in industrial brokerage. Montgomery, Scott and Hall are located in Colliers’ Greenville-Spartanburg market and Salley is domiciled in Columbia.

Scott is a Managing Director in Colliers’ Spartanburg office and specializes in leasing, sales and development advisory services for industrial properties throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg market and the Southeast. He has been involved in the planning, acquisition and implementation of more than 34 industrial parks and 46 million square feet of industrial space in key manufacturing and distribution markets. In 2018, he obtained the professional designation of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®) and has won three SIOR Top Industrial Deal of the Year Awards. Scott is an active member of both the Colliers Logistics & Transportation Group and Colliers’ Automotive Desk. He is a current board member of The Piedmont Club and former board member of Clemson University’s Board of Visitors and The Humanities Council.

This is Scott’s fifth time being recognized with the Colliers Everest Award, the last several years having received this award as a team with his partners, Montgomery and Hall – an unparalleled achievement in company history. He has been recognized as Colliers | South Carolina’s Walter M. Keenan Award recipient as the top producer six times and is consistently ranked as a Top 10 Producer for the company. He has also received the CoStar Power Broker Award in industrial leasing and sales every year since its inception in 2015. He is a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association and Spartanburg Association of REALTORS® and is a graduate of Clemson University.

Montgomery is a Managing Director in Colliers’ Spartanburg office and is an industrial broker with expertise in industrial land and industrial development projects. He guides clients through the development process from land acquisition and development through lease-up and disposition. He is a graduate of the Liberty Fellowship Program, the National Outdoor Leadership School and he has served on the Board of Trustees for Converse College, the Board of Directors for Glenn Springs Academy, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Upstate, Spartanburg Community College Foundation and the University of South Carolina Upstate Foundation. He is the current Chairman of the Commission of Public Works for the City of Spartanburg as well as a commissioner for Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District.

This is Montgomery’s fourth Colliers Everest Award recognition. He has also been recognized as Colliers | South Carolina’s Walter M. Keenan Award winner as the top producer three times and is consistently ranked as a Top 10 Producer for the company. He has received the CoStar Power Broker Award in industrial leasing and sales every year since its inception in 2015 and two SIOR Top Industrial Deal of the Year Awards. He graduated from the University of the South and holds a Master of Real Estate Development degree from Columbia University. He obtained the professional designation of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®) in 2022.

Hall is a Vice President in Colliers’ Greenville and Spartanburg offices and specializes in the representation of industrial landlords and tenants throughout the Southeast. He is a key advisor on industrial projects throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg region, helping occupiers, developers and investors make strategic real estate decisions for their business. Hall has previous experience in the construction industry including working on projects in K-12, office and institutional. His construction background allows him to assist occupiers with their building specifications and advise them during the build-to-suit and new construction process. For developers and investors, he is a uniquely qualified advisor on construction-related issues involved in tenant upfits, value-add projects and new development.

Hall has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker for the past five consecutive years; has received Colliers | South Carolina’s Rising Star Award, five Top Producer Awards, and two SIOR Top Industrial Deal of the Year Awards. He graduated from Clemson University with Bachelor of Science and Master of Real Estate Development degrees and has been a designated member of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®) since 2020.

Salley is a Managing Director in Colliers’ Columbia office and specializes in all aspects of industrial brokerage including leasing, sales, build-to-suit, site acquisition, investment sales and consulting. He holds the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation and is past President of the SIOR Carolinas Chapter. He led the team that earned SIOR’s worldwide 2020 Top Industrial and Investment Transaction Awards. He is a Life Member of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association Circle of Excellence, a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers Association and the Central SC Alliance Committee of 100. He is a former chair of the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Board, former board member of the Congaree Land Trust and a former Chair of the City of Columbia Board of Zoning Appeals.

This is Salley’s ninth time being recognized with the Colliers Everest Award. He has received the Colliers | South Carolina’s Walter M. Keenan Award as the top producer seven times and is consistently ranked as a Top 10 Producer for the company. He has received the CoStar Power Broker Award in industrial leasing and sales every year since its inception in 2015. Salley graduated from the University of South Carolina.
